Okay, so what about all you fans out there who don’t celebrate Xmas? Good news – we’ve been working on Material Hanukkah (based on The Chanuka Song by Adam Sandler). It’ll be an eight-part epic that’s kosher enough for all to enjoy – look for it on participating Walmart shelves in December 2017.

Been recording in Alec’s basement in Charlottetown onto an old Fostex that we’ve named Wall-E. We name most of our friends that buzz and whir Wall-E (including our little GPS, Wall E, who doesn’t buzz nor whir, though always plans for an unnecessary detour through Quebec City on our way to montreal). About 13 songs in and getting excited about an eventual release in winter!

Greetings – in a bit of a Springtime hibernation – working on new tracks, recording, demos, drinking Sapporo, buying new guitars we can’t afford/resist – New Material is shaping up.

Played a great gig at the Alibi in Charlottetown last week with The Invertebrates – great new band that sounded like the Stooges/Nirvana/Black Flag. Alibi also has the most incredible pizza that makes the best pizza in your town look like the bad pizza in your town.

Next month at Hunter’s in Charlottetown, 18th I think, standby for Details. In the meantime looking forward to the sun coming out and skrateboarding and the next English Words gig.

ECMA Weekend
